Tria Gallery was founded in 2006 by directors Carol Suchman, Paige Bart & Latifa Metheny.

It is the mission of Tria Gallery to exhibit a balance of established artists with impressive resumes and exciting young talent, showing representational and abstract work, painting, sculpture, mixed media and installations. The common denominator is that the Tria artist has a unique, authentic voice and a compelling body of work which the directors feel should be given an audience.

Tria’s success was recognized early on by enthusiastic reviews of its artists featured in the national and international art press. These have included consistently strong reviews in Art in America, The New York Times, Newsday and USA Today, as well as numerous favorable online critiques.

Relocating to a ground floor space on 25th Street at the beginning of the 2009 season has increased Tria’s visibility and placed it amidst many of the most prestigious galleries in the city, further establishing the gallery’s position in the Chelsea art scene.

Tria is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm, or by appointment.
